Join St Albans Tennis Club
New members are always welcome, whether your interest is in social tennis, competitive tennis, coaching for you or your family, or any combination of these.
Application Form
There are four different ways to obtain an application form:-
- You may apply online by clicking "Apply here" and following the screens through to finally submitting your form.
- You may e-mail Karen Marshall and request membership information, or
- You may visit the clubhouse and pick up a form from the reception area. We recommend you visit during Wednesday evenings or Saturday afternoons when there is social tennis, and the Clubhouse will be open.
- You may click here to download an application form to complete and send in to the address stated on the form.
Joining Fee
There is a joining fee for new members, and also for existing members whose membership renewal has lapsed by the given date for renewals each year. This is a set fee of £35 per adult,or £50.00 per two adults or per family. The joining fee does not apply to non playing parents who wish to join their children only.

^ Off Peak Membership allows play on Monday to Friday, up to 6pm.
Please note family discounts are given to members paying full annual fees: Two members from the same household qualify for a 7% discount, three for 10%, four for 15% and five or more for 20% from their total family subscriptions, excluding any joining fee. Tots (children under 5) are not included in the discount structure. So for example, if two parents wish to join as full adult members, together with a 7 year old child joining as a junior, the cost is:

Please note we would like you to register your children under the age of 5 with the club so that you can be invited to participate in short tennis courses and/or other activities suitable for this age group.
NB. It is essential that for each young person (under 18 years) who joins the club, there is a corresponding parent or guardian who is registered with the Club, at least as a Non-playing parent, so that a parent/guardian can be contacted in case of emergency. The charge here contributes to insurance and administrative costs since Non-playing parents will receive all club Newsletters and formal club notifications.
